Thematic Summit on Health & Food, Environment, and Data, Computing & Digital Research Infrastructures

Masaryk University (MUNI) organizes a Thematic Summit under the auspices of the RIFF project. The event will focus on the following ESFRI domains: Health & Food, Environment, and Data, Computing, and Digital Research Infrastructures.

Why participate?

The event will be designed to strengthen cooperation between Ukrainian research community and pan-European research infrastructures. It will bring together scientists, RI managers, policymakers, and experts from Ukraine and the EU to exchange experience, build partnerships, and explore concrete pathways for Ukraine’s integration into the ERA.

The Summit should serve as a bridge between the EU and Ukrainian RI communities – a space to meet, discuss shared challenges, and initiate future collaborations that can support both scientific excellence and Ukraine’s sustainable reconstruction.

The programme will feature high-level speakers such as José Luis Martínez (ESFRI Chair), Jan Hrušák, Gert Vereecke (ESFRI Strategy Working Group Chair for the Environmental domain), and Isabel Campos (ESFRI Strategy Working Group Chair for Data, Computing, and Digital RIs).

Date: 15–16 June 2026, lunch-to-lunch
