Open Call for Research Infrastructures in Ukraine
Why apply?
The aim of this Open Call is to gather the expressions of interest from existing and future research infrastructures (RIs) in Ukraine to be considered for the RIs Roadmap under the RIFF project. The applications will undergo an eligibility check, expert review, and prioritisation process to identify the most capable RIs that will be integrated into the Roadmap of RIs in Ukraine.
Participation in the Open Call also provides applicants with the opportunity to be involved in other RIFF project activities that cover trainings for the research infrastructure managers, study visits, workshops, thematic summits, summer schools and fellowship programmes, but also build linkages with the EU RIs for common projects in the future.
While the inclusion into the Roadmap does not guarantee financing of the RIs, the Roadmap will be actively promoted upon its completion with the international funders, including European Commission, national governments in the EU and beyond, investment banks and foundations, to increase the chances of attracting further funding.
This Open Call is the only opportunity for the RI to be considered for the inclusion into the Roadmap.
To take part in the Open Call, the RI should fill in the application form.
The Call is open until 13 July 2026.
