We are pleased to support an important initiative conducted at the Open Science Lab, TIB – Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology and University Library within the Philipp Schwartz Initiative. The initiative aims to map the scientific instruments in Ukraine.

The survey “Scientific Instruments and Metadata for Research Infrastructure Recovery in Ukraine” explores how research equipment is currently documented, accessed, maintained, and managed, and what information is needed to support research infrastructure recovery. It is part of the “Metadata Mapping for Scientific Instruments in Ukraine” research project at the Open Science Lab, TIB, within the Philipp Schwartz Initiative.
The survey takes 15–20 minutes to complete and is open until 30 September 2026. Responses are anonymous and will be analyzed in aggregated form for research purposes.

The RIFF Thematic Summit on Health & Food, Environment, and Data, Computing & Digital Research Infrastructures was a two-day event organised by Masaryk University in Brno on 15–16 June 2026.
The RIFF project will financially support up to 4 high-profile candidates to participate in the Executive Master in Management of Research Infrastructures programme, delivered by the University of Milano-Bicocca.
