- Fast-Track Call for Access, open continuously 2025–2028
The Fast-Track Call is now open for researchers requiring immediate access to IRISCC’s services in response to climate emergencies. This Call is also available for Ukrainian researchers facing challenges due to the ongoing geopolitical situation. - Instruct-ERIC support for displaced Ukrainian researchers: Following a recent vote from the executive committee, Instruct-ERIC will now waive the standard membership requirement for eligible Ukrainian researchers seeking funded access to infrastructure and services.

- RIFF in LUKE newsletter
LUKE serves as platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange, uniting Ukrainian and European partners to strengthen UA research and innovation ecosystem. The initiative provides critical support, offering funding opportunities and capacity-building activities, and a networking.
ScaleUA - Horizon Europe-funded project supporting the recovery and transformation of Ukraine’s technological infrastructures, with a focus on health, energy and digital. Over its lifetime, the project will develop new governance models that maximise the infrastructure’s impact as an economic multiplier, identify the highest-priority investments, and build stronger links between Ukraine’s innovation ecosystem and that of the European Union.
ScaleUA is a sister project to RIFF, which focuses on research infrastructures rather than technological infrastructures. Given their complementary aims, the two projects will stay in regular contact throughout their duration, seeking synergies and avoiding duplicated work.

The evaluation process has been completed, and the selection results of the secondMSCA4Ukraine call have been communicated to the applicant organisations. At this time no further call for applications is foreseen. - Seed Fund for Research Excellence
The call generated an exceptionally strong response, with 234 applications submitted in total — significantly exceeding our initial expectations. This high level of engagement clearly demonstrates the relevance and demand for the programme. - Centers of Excellence in Ukraine, deadline 1 July 2026
The Simons Foundation (SF) and Simons Foundation International (SFI) intend to continue supporting basic science and mathematics in Ukraine, with the goal of fostering research excellence and international collaboration. - AGRI-BIOCIRCULAR-HUB Call: Take your bio-circular innovation to the European level. AGRI-BIOCIRCULAR-HUB is offering €50,000 grants to 12 SMEs and startups from Poland, Latvia, and Ukraine to develop, test, or scale innovative solutions for sustainable agriculture and the circular bioeconomy. Deadline: July 31, 2026.
